Thung Waterfall is a must-visit experience when coming to Lung Van. 8km from the center of Van Son commune, Thung Thac is located in Bac Thung hamlet, Quyet Chien commune. True to its name, this waterfall flows from the mountain more than 30 meters high, through many floors, down into a valley surrounded by mountains and rich vegetation.
In the summer, Thung waterfall is really an attractive picnic destination, when the rainy season comes, the waterfall has a lot of water and the scenery becomes majestic. The climate in Lung Van and Thac Thung is always cooler than other areas of Tan Lac district by 5-7°C. Visitors here can camp in the grass at the foot of the falls and explore the falls by walking the trail to the top of the falls, wading through the waterfalls stretching hundreds of meters.
The road to Thung waterfall in Hoa Binh is also very convenient because it has been concreted, a 16-seat car can get close to the place, a few tens of meters away.
